About Samantha
Samantha Rauba earned her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2008. She entered the legal career at a time of heavy caseloads and tight public resources. The classroom had organized her for doctrine; the courthouse taught her urgency.
Her first submit was as an Assistant Public Defender within the fifth Judicial Circuit Office of the Public Defender in 2008. There she worked on felony things for clients who couldn't have the funds for personal counsel. The role required court appearances, client interviews and quick legal studies. It also gave her early trial experience and a realistic sense of case preparation under pressure.
In 2010 Rauba moved into private practice as an affiliate at Colleen M. Duris, P.A. The change expanded her publicity to civil matters and transactional work. She took on probate-associated documents and treated actual estate things as a part of a broader practice. The move mirrored a shift from state-funded protection to the various demands of personal clients.
By 2013 she used to be operating at Schatt & Hesser, P.A. as an attorney. Her time there persisted the trajectory towards estate planning, probate management and actual estate-related problems. She balanced client counseling and record drafting with appearances in probate courts and other nearby tribunals.
Outside the workplace Rauba has been lively in bar and civic organizations. She has served as Law Day Chair for the Marion County Bar Association since 2015 and has been on the Marion County Public Education Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2014. She has held the secretary submit for the Florida Association for Women Lawyers since 2012. Locally, she has been involved with Altrusa International of Ocala since 2010, serving as vice chairman in 2013–2014 and president in 2014–2015. Her volunteer work additionally consists of the Junior League of Ocala and the DR Smith American Inns of Court, the place she held an officer position targeted on professional excellence.
Her bar-related memberships mirror the subjects she handles: the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and the Marion County Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Elder Law Section, both since 2010, and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division since 2008. Those affiliations inform the practical aspect of her practice and provide a continuous connection to continuing legal education and local colleagues.
