Ronald L. Bell earned his Bachelor of Arts from Lake Forest College in 1976 and completed his law degree at The John Marshall Law School in 1980. Soon following law school he became admitted to practice in Illinois and later secured admission to the United States Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit. He spent time in the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, serving as Assistant Attorney General and working as an attorney within the office.
