About Robert K.
Robert K. Chewning constructed his foundation at Rutgers. He earned a B.A. in Political Science on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus and finished a minor in History. He stayed at Rutgers for law program and received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Newark. Those years shaped his strategy to research, argument and the practical aspect of legal work.
He started his legal career after law school and now serves as an affiliate at McLaughlin & Nardi LLC. In that position he prepares pleadings, drafts motions and memoranda, and meets with clients to speak about legal strategy. Colleagues describe his work as thorough. He handles case preparation and helps court proceedings when required.
Chewning is admitted to practice in each New Jersey and New York. He keeps recent club in the State Bar of New York and the New Jersey State Bar. Holding admission in two neighboring jurisdictions offers him the capacity to represent clients across state lines and to coordinate filings and appearances where matters overlap.
His educational background in political science and history informs how he approaches legal problems.
