About Robert
Robert Friedman has practiced regulation in Western New York for decades. He built a tradition rooted in court work and municipal service. Colleagues and clients know him for continuous representation and a long local presence.
He earned his J.D. from Hamline University in 1975 after completing a B.A. at State University of New York, College at Buffalo in 1972. Those academic years set a clean trail towards litigation and public service. He entered practice at a time when courtroom experience formed many careers.
Early in his career he joined the company that became Friedman & Ranzenhofer. He became a partner in 1977 and has remained tied to that company call since. The partnership established his role as a nearby practitioner with reach across multiple groups within the region.
Friedman is admitted to practice in New York and in the Federal Circuit. His memberships consist of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and numerous county bar associations including Erie and Genesee. He additionally keeps ties to local civic teams; he belongs to the Akron Chamber of Commerce and holds prosecutor roles for municipal governments.
He serves as prosecutor for the Village of Akron and as Town Prosecutor for Clarence. Those municipal responsibilities involve courtroom appearances on the local level and ordinary interaction with elected officers and municipal staff. The combination of private practice and public prosecutorial work has stored him engaged in each civil and criminal calendars in the area.
Friedman keeps workplaces that serve a wide swath of Western New York. His practice places consist of Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara Falls, Williamsville/Clarence, West Seneca, Batavia and Akron. He continues to handle things in state and federal courts whilst finishing up his municipal prosecutor responsibilities.
He stays active in the nearby legal network thru bar affiliation participation and civic club. Today he practices at Friedman & Ranzenhofer and continues to represent clients and act as a municipal prosecutor in Western New York, handling matters in both state and federal courts.
