About RJ
RJ Harris studied philosophy and regulation at the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and later a Juris Doctor from the College of Law in 2012. His trail through better education was realistic and steady. He left law program with credentials that would intersect with an unconventional expert background in aviation and management.
Harris’s early résumé mixes technical work and small-enterprise ventures. He worked as a photographer in 1989 and later ran Arizona Gamer Inc. as CEO beginning in 1998. He held a sales role at Games Workshop PLC in 2002. At the same time he used to be advancing a parallel profession in aviation. He served as an Army National Guard officer in air visitors and airspace control, holding the CW3 designation as a 150A. He joined the Federal Aviation Administration as an air visitors controller in 1997 and holds FAA certifications as a Control Tower Operator and an Air Traffic Control Specialist.
That aviation background informed his move into legal practice. Harris founded Patriot Law in 2014 and took on roles that bridged airports and regulation. In 2015 he served as airport supervisor at Muskogee Davis Field Airport. In 2020 he worked with NASA as an Air Traffic and Airspace Subject Matter Expert. Those positions mixed operational information of airspace with regulatory and organizational views that attorneys do not usually acquire in lecture rooms on my own.
On the licensing side, Harris maintains club within the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is likewise licensed with the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes Bar. He practices where aviation and regulation meet, handling questions that arise from airspace management, airport operations, and associated regulatory compliance. His experience earlier than federal and tribal authorities informs how he approaches administrative things and operational disputes, and it shapes the types of cases he accepts.
Harris stays the founder and practicing lawyer at Patriot Law. He continues to draw on his years in air visitors manage, airport management, and army airspace control in his legal work. He focuses his practice on aviation and tribal legal matters.
