Richard A Quitiquit earned a B.A. in political science from Hampden‑Sydney College in 2006 and a J.D. from Charleston School of Law in 2011. His educational trail began in the early 2000s and led quickly into public service. The series is easy: undergraduate learn about, law program, then work in county commonwealth offices.
Soon following law school he began work as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Lawyer. His first posting used to be with the Halifax County Commonwealth’s Lawyer in 2011. Quitiquit keeps lively ties to the local bar. He has been a member of the Hanover County Bar since 2012 and of the Henrico County Bar since the same year. Those memberships reflect the geographic focus of his practice and the courtrooms the place he has spent much of his profession. He is licensed to practice in Virginia and has spent his professional life working within the state’s county and circuit courts.
Today his work is grounded in trial practice and court process. Clients and colleagues describe him as practical in approach and direct in court. He balances case preparation with the day‑to‑day needs of the company he helped form. He remains based at Jurach, Tacey & Quitiquit, PLC and continues to handle things that arise in Virginia’s trial courts.
