About Ramsey A.
Ramsey A. Bahrawy began his higher education at Tufts University, the place he earned a B.A. in political science in 1972. He continued his studies at California Western School of Law and earned a J.D. in 1979. Those years framed his early interest in courtroom work and public service.
After law school he hung out inside the courthouse. In 1978 he served as a judicial clerk for the San Diego Municipal Court. The clerkship put him alongside judges and court body of workers, handling motions, drafting memoranda and observing trials. The work offered an early, realistic education in how courts operate everyday.
Bahrawy joined the Massachusetts State Bar in 1979 and keeps that club today. A few years later he moved into public protection. In 1981 he labored as an Essex County Bar Advocate, taking appointments in felony matters and representing clients who could not afford personal counsel. That role required common appearances, rapid choice making and repeated touch with prosecutors and court employees.
Throughout his profession Bahrawy’s practice has centered on court advocacy. Much of his knowledge comes from felony protection and trial work, where he handled arraignments, pretrial motions and jury trials. He has relied on the procedural grounding from his clerkship and the day-to-day demands of public protection to take on cases that require steady courtroom presence. Colleagues describe him as continuous in the courtroom and thorough in preparation.
Today he practices in Massachusetts and continues to handle things that bring him again to state courts. His background spans educational study in political science, hands-on courtroom experience as a clerk, and front-line defense work in Essex County. He currently practices in Massachusetts, handling felony protection things.
