About Ramona A
Ramona A Gau has built a continuous profession in Missouri courts over two decades. She earned her law degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2006 and moved into trial work soon after. That early trial experience shaped how she strategies instances nowadays.
Following law school, Gau began her professional lifestyles as a litigator for the State of Missouri. Those first years gave her frequent exposure to contested hearings and courtroom process. She treated a variety of matters that required regular appearances before judges and juries, allowing her to develop practical skills in advocacy and case preparation.
In 2014 she shifted into private practice. Over the subsequent numerous years she broadened her work, taking over things that required negotiation in addition to legal proceedings. In 2016 she returned to public service as an assistant circuit lawyer for the City of St. Louis. In that position she treated court dockets and labored intently with prosecutors and courtroom employees. The job further another layer to her courtroom experience and strengthened her familiarity with local practice and process.
Gau moved into firm leadership in 2017 when she became a partner at Marler Schrum Law. She continued on that trail in 2019, taking a partner position at Marler Law Partners. At the firms she has combined courtroom experience and practical case management. Partners describe her as someone who manages files through all levels of legal proceedings, from initial filings to trial preparation.
Her work is based out of Marler Law Partners’ Farmington and St. Louis workplaces. She divides time among the ones locations depending on courtroom schedules and client needs. In the office she handles legal strategy, client interviews and pretrial motions. In courtroom she focuses on trial advocacy and evidentiary hearings. She presently practices at Marler Law Partners, splitting her time between the Farmington and St. Louis offices and dealing with civil litigation and trial things.
