About Ramon
Ramon Olivencia earned his Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2001 after in advance studies at the University of Puerto Rico—Río Piedras, where he completed general research. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Science in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston. That educational path paired public affairs and legal background early in his professional life.
He started his submit-law school work as a law clerk in 2002 at the State Court of Appeals. That clerkship led to a preliminary period in public service on the Puerto Rico Department of Justice, the place he worked in the Office of Civil Litigation beginning in 2004 and later joined the Office of Legal Counsel in 2008. Those roles concerned court filings, brief preparation and advising on legal proceedings approach for the Commonwealth’s civil matters.
After his time at the Department of Justice, he moved into agreement work within the United States. He served as a contract attorney for Update Legal in New York in 2013 and later for Epiq in 2017. Between those engagements and alongside different expert activities, he started offering record and notarial services under the call Abogado Notario Online, formally listed as a Lawyer-at-Law and Notary Public in 2016. His legal status consists of certification as a lawyer from 2002 onward.
His admissions span trial and appellate forums. He is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico and in New York. Federal admissions include the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. That blend of state and federal credentials has supported work starting from state civil litigation to federal appellate filings.
Colleagues describe him as practical and methodical in dealing with filings and courthouse things. He has treated legal proceedings support, civil litigation tasks for government clients, contract attorney assignments for major legal offerings vendors and notarial responsibilities for person clients. His public-sector work gave him knowledge in drafting court filings and legal opinions, while his contract positions uncovered him to high-volume document review and litigation help environments.
He presently practices beneath the name Abogado Notario Online, providing legal record, notarial and litigation help offerings. He maintains active bar status and continues to accept things that draw on his experience in civil litigation, appellate process and notarial offerings. His current practice makes a speciality of offering legal record offerings, notarial acts and litigation support for clients in Puerto Rico and New York.
