About Rachel S.

Rachel S. Gunther earned her J.D. from Regent University School of Law in 2002. She finished law program on the start of a career that now spans more than two decades. That early training provided a foundation in core legal concepts and courtroom practice.

After law program she gained admission to practice in each North Carolina and Virginia. Those twin licenses have formed how she practices. She has built a career that crosses state lines and the procedural differences that include each jurisdiction.

Gunther practices at Gunther Law Group, which maintains offices throughout multiple places. Her work there includes representing clients earlier than state courts and in administrative boards. She handles client intake, case preparation, and court advocacy as required by each topic.

Her daily work combines court time and workplace work. On some days she is drafting court filings and negotiating agreements. On others she is appearing at proceedings, taking depositions, or advising clients on procedural approach. That blend keeps her practice diverse and aware of client wants.

Colleagues describe her as steady and pragmatic in the court. She assesses instances with an eye fixed for procedural posture and practical resolution. When instances move toward trial she makes a speciality of preparation and coherence in presentation. Outside the court she spends time reviewing case law and state guidelines to make sure filings and strategy match recent practice.

Over the years she has navigated modifications in both North Carolina and Virginia practice. The two-state perspective informs how she approaches cross-jurisdictional problems, scheduling, and court procedures. It also impacts client communications, since court calendars and guidelines differ among the states.

As of 2026 she is a practicing attorney at Gunther Law Group and continues to serve clients throughout North Carolina and Virginia. Her current practice facilities on representing clients and managing litigation and associated legal matters in the ones jurisdictions.
