About Rachel L.

Rachel L. Wright constructed her path to the law thru study of politics and policy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2002, then stayed on the same campus to complete a Master of Arts in Political Science in 2006. She completed her formal legal background at Southern Methodist University, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2007.

Her educational record reflects a steady immersion in the intersections of regulation and political structures. The series of degrees—BA, MA and then JD—gave her time to examine questions of governance and judicial process before she entered practice. That background informs how she evaluates issues and frames arguments.

Wright has chosen to practice in Texas. Over the years she has served clients out of the state and maintained ties to nearby expert networks. She holds memberships in expert institutions and participates within the groups that help the practice of law in the state.
