About Peter William

Peter William Green took a continuous, traditional trail into the law. He completed his undergraduate studies on the State University of New York at Albany in 1999 and went directly to earn his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2006. Those academic years set the groundwork for a career cut up between bench service and personal practice.

After law program he entered practice within the New York–New Jersey region. He is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey, which has allowed him to work on things that cross state lines and to serve clients in adjoining jurisdictions. He has balanced court work with workplace-based practice, growing an understanding of the procedural variations that may matter from one state to the next.

In 2015 he was appointed Town Justice for the Town of Wallkill Justice Court. In that role he presided over hearings on the local degree and treated the everyday administration that maintains a municipal courtroom functioning. The role put him on the center of network disputes and routine criminal and traffic things for a duration, and it further a layer of judicial experience to his record.

He has maintained expert membership since 2007. That ongoing connection to an expert company has kept him involved with peers and aware of developments in courtroom practice and process. Beyond that lengthy-term club, his profession has been shaped by steady nearby involvement instead of by appearances on excessive-profile dockets.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in courtroom and realistic at counsel desk. He has balanced the needs of a municipal judgeship and private practice, shifting between case management, client session and courtroom responsibilities as conditions required. Those transitions have knowledgeable how he manages files and prepares proof and witnesses when things continue to hearing or trial.

Today he practices regulation in the New York and New Jersey region. He continues to handle things from his workplace and to appear in courts throughout the 2 states, combining judicial experience and private practice work in his ongoing professional legal career.
