About Peter N.

Peter N. Munsing has built an extended career that centers on court work and civil legal proceedings. He earned a B.A. in history from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (B.A. 1972), a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. 1975) where his research emphasized person rights, and a LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law (LL.M. 1996). Those credentials reflect formal training in trial techniques and a grounding in the substantive law that shapes contested instances.

Early in his career he took benefit of a District of Columbia court regulation that allowed regulation students to seem for clients in court, gaining realistic experience prior to joining the bar. He later founded The Law Offices of Peter N. Munsing, P.C., where he serves as a principal and trial lawyer. Over the years he has attempted matters in state and federal courts and has maintained a tradition built round litigation and court appearances.

Mr. Munsing is admitted to practice in a wide range of forums. His admissions include the U.S. highest court, the U.S. Court of Claims, and more than one federal circuits: the first, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Circuits. He is likewise admitted to practice in multiple states, including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut and the District of Columbia. That range of admissions allowed him to pursue cases that cross state lines and to appear in federal appellate courts when necessary.

Professional institutions were a constant in his profession. He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 1974 and joined the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice in 1982. He is also an extended-time member of each the Berks County Bar Association (since 1987) and the Chester County Bar Association (since 1988). He has held memberships in the American Association for Justice since 1984 and previously belonged to the Monroe County Bar Association (1997–2015) and the New Jersey Association for Justice (2017–2018).

Colleagues describe him as an attorney who concentrates on court preparation and the mechanics of trial. He has combined formal trial education with many years of practice in state and federal settings. He tends to take cases that require legal proceedings experience and a capacity to transport a matter thru the courtroom system.

He continues to lead The Law Offices of Peter N. Munsing, P.C., handling legal proceedings matters in courts the place he's licensed. His current practice makes a speciality of civil litigation and trial representation.
