About Paul F.
Paul F. Wieneskie built his legal basis at Baylor. He earned a B.A. in law and enterprise at Baylor University and went directly to obtain a J.D. from Baylor Law School in 1982. Those years framed the start of a career that moved among municipal service, appellate work and personal practice.
Early in his career he worked as a briefing lawyer for the Hon. Connally McKay on the Twelfth Court of Appeals in Tyler. He served as an associate city lawyer for the City of Euless in 1982 and later took at the position of metropolis lawyer for the City of Richland Hills in 1987. In the mid-1980s he also hung out in personal practice in Arlington, including an affiliation indexed with Cribbs & McFarland in 1983.
He has maintained ties to the local bar for several many years. He served as a director of the Arlington Bar from 1989 to 1992, moved directly to be president-elect in 1992–1993, and then served as president during 1993–1994. Those leadership roles put him in regular touch with municipal officers and different attorneys throughout Tarrant County.
Appellate work have become a defining element of his practice. He earned board certification in Civil Appellate Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1994. He is licensed to practice in Texas and in numerous federal boards, including the Fifth and Ninth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. His background consists of preparing appellate briefs and dealing with things that require cautious review of trial records and legal precedent.
