About Nicholas L.

Nicholas L. Wollen earned his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2000. He completed his legal education at a state law program that feeds many of Idaho’s trial lawyers. That credential set the stage for a profession cut up between public service and private practice.

He entered private practice immediately following law school, joining White Peterson Lawyers at Law in 2000. Those early years gave him publicity to day-to-day client work and firm-based practice. In 2003 he moved into public protection, taking a submit as a deputy public defender with the Ada County Public Defender’s Office. There he handled things for the county and gained trial experience representing clients charged with felony offenses.

After several years in public defense, he returned to private practice. In 2018 he started working at Wollen Law, Pllc. The pass marked a return to firm work whilst drawing at the courtroom experience he had developed in Ada County. Over the course of his career he has labored in each institutional and small-company settings, giving him point of view on how cases are organized and litigated in different environments.

Wollen practices in Idaho. His background encompasses public defender work and personal representation, and that mix informs how he strategies instances. He has treated things at diverse levels of the procedure, from client intake to court appearances. Colleagues and clients have defined him as continuous in court and practical on the workplace.

Outside of court work, his profession displays the small, interconnected legal community in Idaho. Lawyers who pass between public service and personal practice frequently draw on relationships formed across the ones roles. Wollen’s path follows that sample: preliminary company work, years in a county public defender’s office, then a go back to private practice.

He continues to practice at Wollen Law, Pllc., operating under the legal guidelines of Idaho. His recent work is concentrated on matters springing up in Idaho state courts and related client counseling at his firm.
