About Nicholas J.

Nicholas J. LaFountain constructed his legal foundation at Roger Williams University, earning a B.S. in 1997, after which moved on to Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he finished his J.D. in 2004. He entered practice at a time when court procedure and local court relationships mattered as much as legal doctrine. Those early years formed how he strategies the work each day.

Right following law school he took on a managing position at the Law Offices of Ara H. Margosian II, P.C. in 2004. That position positioned him within the middle of case control and client work while he discovered the realistic needs of running a small company. Six years later he have become a partner at LaFountain & Wollman, P.C., a move that formalized his management role and tied his name to a practice that has operated in the Massachusetts legal network for a while.

LaFountain is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Those admissions shape where he documents things and appear in court. He has maintained a lively presence in state and nearby bar circles. He holds membership within the Massachusetts State Bar and belongs to the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. He is also a member of the Masons, William Parkman Lodge.

Over the years he has participated in broader bar activities as well. He has been involved with the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the West Suburban Bar Association. He continues to practice at LaFountain & Wollman, P.C., dealing with things filed in Massachusetts and within the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. His current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters pursued in those courts.
