About Mr. Richard Lyman
Mr. Richard Lyman Hartley is an attorney whose trail to the law started in New England classrooms and wound into Maine courtrooms. He earned a B.A. in Russian records from Princeton University in 1989. He returned north for law program and acquired his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 1994. Those educational years established the groundwork for a practice formed by courtroom work and appellate filings.
Early in his profession Hartley served as an Assistant District Lawyer in Sagadahoc County beginning in 1998. That position positioned him on the prosecutorial side of many local matters and gave him ordinary publicity to jury trials, pretrial practice, and evidentiary disputes.
