About Mr. Patrick
Mr. Patrick Donovan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester in 1993 and went on to receive a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He started his legal studies at a time when state and nearby courts have been converting rapidly. That classroom education set the stage for work in courtrooms throughout Massachusetts.
Licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Donovan served as an Assistant District Lawyer in 2005 within the Norfolk County District Lawyer Office. In that position he treated a variety of matters on behalf of the workplace. He worked on cases through arraignment, pretrial proceedings and trial, gaining firsthand courtroom experience and a knowing of local prosecutorial processes.
After his time within the Norfolk County office he moved into personal practice. He formed the Law Office of Patrick Donovan and based a practice based in Massachusetts state courts. His prior work as an assistant district lawyer informs how he prepares cases and assesses danger. He advocates for clients in proceedings and trials and handles litigation tasks that require familiarity with court procedure and evidence practice.
