Mr. Michael O. Stevens constructed his path to law from two pieces of clear training: a records diploma from Oregon State University and a Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. He finished his undergraduate research in records in the late 1990s and earned his J.D. in 2009. Those years set the stage for a career spent largely in state and federal practice within Oregon.
After law program, Stevens moved into the personal sector. In 2010 he joined Liberty Mutual’s Field Legal branch. He spent that duration working interior a large insurance company’s legal operations, gaining exposure to coverage and claims-associated legal work over numerous years. In 2015 he left that role and became a shareholder and lawyer at Stevens & Legal, the company where he remains a proprietor and an active attorney.
Stevens is licensed to practice in Oregon and within the federal courts that serve the state. His credentials include admission to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
