About Michael
Michael Stuzynski studied English literature earlier than turning to regulation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Rutgers University in 2009 and continued his law school training at the University of Colorado Boulder, receiving his law degree in 2012. Those years in two different regions formed a practitioner relaxed in both written advocacy and court work.
After law school he entered public defense. In 2013 he joined the Colorado State Public Defender’s office as a deputy public defender. There he treated a range of criminal matters, representing clients at initial proceedings, arraignments, and trials. That role gave him sustained trial publicity and ordinary contact with judges, prosecutors, and investigators, and it grounded his litigation abilities in daily practice.
In 2019 he moved into private practice at Rector Stuzynski LLC. His practice consists of felony protection and private injury things. The shift mirrored a change in how he worked with clients — from representing those assigned to public defenders to representing clients who employed counsel for a variety of civil and criminal concerns. At the company he has continued to appear in court and manage case preparation, evidence review, and client counseling.
He brings an aggregate of trial experience and awareness to written work. His undergraduate background in literature informs how he prepares briefs and motions. The equipment learned in both settings — organizing facts, checking out legal theories, and presenting arguments obviously — recur throughout his documents. Colleagues note a methodical strategy to case preparation and an emphasis on explaining options to clients in practical terms.
Stuzynski’s profession trail is steady and traditional. He moved from a public sector position into private practice while keeping litigation at the middle of his work. He handles criminal protection things and private injury claims, keeps regular courtroom appearances, and works directly with clients thru each stage of a case. He currently practices at Rector Stuzynski LLC, representing clients in criminal defense and personal injury things.
