About Michael
Michael Stadnick’s trail to the law began within the sciences. He earned a B.A. in molecular biology and biochemistry from Wesleyan University in 1994 and continued at the University of Pennsylvania, where he acquired a M.S. in molecular genetics in 1997. He then turned to legal research and graduated from New York University School of Law with a J.D. in 2000. Those educational years bridged technical training and legal education, equipping him to work on technically complicated legal questions.
He entered private practice right now after law school as an affiliate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in 2000. Six years later he became a companion at the identical firm, assuming greater duty on client things and in company work. In 2010 he joined Desmarais LLP as a companion, the place he persisted to grow his practice and to work on a wider range of cases and transactions. In 2021 he moved to Stadnick Nowierski-Stadnick LLP as a partner, taking on management responsibilities within the firm and guiding client matters from intake through resolution.
Stadnick is certified to practice in New York and Oregon and is also admitted to practice earlier than the Federal Circuit. He holds recent memberships in both the New York State Bar and the Oregon State Bar. Those admissions reflect a cross-jurisdictional practice that includes state judiciary things in two states and appellate work at the federal level. Over the course of his profession he has balanced company responsibilities with courtroom appearances and appellate filings when matters required it.

His educational background in molecular biology and molecular genetics, observed by a Juris Doctor, informs the kinds of matters he takes on and the technical materials he reviews. He handles things in New York and Oregon and represents clients in things earlier than the Federal Circuit as part of his recent practice focus.
