About Michael S.
Michael S. Litrenta built a professional legal career that moves among courtrooms and client conferences. He earned a J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2010 after finishing a B.S. on the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The combination of Midwestern undergraduate training and a Florida Juris Doctor formed an early professional trail that combined public service and private practice.
He began work within the 16th Judicial Circuit as a prosecuting lawyer in 2010. That early litigation experience put him on the front lines of felony instances and gave him a sense of how state charges are prepared and presented. In 2012 he shifted to private practice as an associate at the Law Offices of Hal Schuhmacher, P.A., where he treated a selection of protection matters and gained knowledge representing clients outside the prosecutorial role.
After several years in that firm environment, Litrenta joined Dummit Fradin in 2017. His time there expanded his publicity to trial work and client advocacy. The subsequent year he launched his own company and have become managing partner of Litrenta Law, PLLC, a pass that placed him in command of case strategy, client intake, and litigation decisions. Running a small company required balancing courtroom time with administrative duties and client communications.
Throughout his career he has maintained connections to professional organizations that mirror his practice interests. He is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He belongs to the Monroe County Bar Association and has been active in the nearby Monroe County Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, serving as secretary from 2013 to 2014 and as president from 2014 to 2015. He used to be a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers from 2012 to 2016 and of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association from 2014 to 2016.
Those memberships reflect the kinds of instances he handles. His background consists of prosecution and protection work, and he frequently advocates for clients dealing with criminal charges and DUI things. Clients can anticipate someone who understands both sides of the aisle and who prepares for proceedings and trials with practical attention to evidence and procedure. His practice fashion displays time spent in courtroom and time spent managing a small practice.
As of 2026 he practices thru Litrenta Law, PLLC, concentrating on criminal protection and DUI representation.
