About Michael
Michael Ross trained as a political scientist earlier than turning to law. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach in 1971 and took his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 1975. Those credentials set the stage for a long profession practicing in California.
He based his own company in 1981 and has operated the Law Office of Michael Ross since then. That step followed his law school training and early years in practice. The choice to open a solo practice allowed him to set the scope of his work and manage client relationships right away.
Ross joined the Bar Association of San Francisco in 2007 and is a member of its Criminal Law Section. That membership locations him in an expert circle centered on criminal law issues in the Bay Area and beyond.
