About Michael
Michael Ortiz combines military service, philosophical study and trial experience into a realistic legal career. He served as a Corporal within the United States Marine Corps in 2006 before completing a Bachelor of Arts on the University of California, Riverside in 2007, the place he studied philosophy, ethics and legal theory. He went directly to earn his J.D. in 2015 from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where his coursework emphasised intellectual real estate law and worldwide contracts.
While at Arizona State, Ortiz took on hands-on legal training. He labored as a student lawyer in the Innovation Advancement Program in 2015, gaining experience on transactional and innovation-associated things. During 2014 he completed judicial externships on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and on the United States District Court for the Central District of California. That identical year he worked as a research and writing intern at Quarles & Brady LLP, where he assisted on memoranda and legal research projects.
After law program Ortiz joined The Turoci Firm as an affiliate in 2015. He spent those early post-graduate years translating study room training into client work and courtroom preparation. In 2018 he based Ortiz Law and took at the role of managing lawyer. Since then he has overseen the firm’s operations whilst carrying a caseload that displays his educational background in highbrow property and contractual things.
Ortiz has maintained ties to the legal network beyond his practice. He serves as vice-president of the Hispanic Bar Association of the Inland Empire, a position that combines organizational duties with event making plans and club outreach. Licensed to practice in California, Ortiz leads Ortiz Law from its office base and supervises each transactional and legal proceedings work. His practice includes intellectual estate matters, international contract problems and related civil litigation.
