Michael Lee Matuska is a licensed attorney licensed to practice law in each Nevada and California. He used to be admitted to the State Bar of California in 1994 and to the State Bar of Nevada in 1995. His license standing is presently active. Mr. Matuska is the owner of Matuska Law Offices, Ltd., a law firm located at 2310 S. Carson St. Ste 6, Carson City, NV 89701-4529. He has been working as an attorney for over 30 years, serving clients across Northern Nevada and California.
Mr. Matuska earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 1994. Prior to law program, he finished his undergraduate schooling on the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts diploma in Economics in 1989. During his time at UC Davis School of Law, he used to be actively concerned in various legal organizations and gained realistic experience through internships and clerkships.
Mr. Matuska's areas of practice consist of business litigation, business law, real estate law, construction law, and alternative dispute resolution. He represents clients in things involving business disputes, real estate transactions, construction contracts, and network affiliation governance. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, which includes initial case evaluation, evidence-gathering process, facilitated negotiation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in each state and federal courts.
Throughout his profession, Mr. Matuska has treated cases in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also appeared earlier than the Nevada highest court and the California Supreme Court. Prior to founding his personal firm, he labored as an affiliate on the Law Offices of Daniel R. Walsh, P.C. in Carson City and later have become a partner on the Douglas County-based regulation company Brook Shaw Zumpf.
Mr. Matuska is a certified mediator, arbitrator, and referee. He is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Nevada State Bar Association and has been acknowledged as a main expert in Common-Interest Community Law in Northern Nevada.
