About Michael J.

Michael J. Giarrusso studied records at Princeton University earlier than turning to regulation. He earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. Those two schools shaped a practice that balances awareness to narrative with an eye fixed for element.

After law school he entered practice in the New York–New Jersey hall. He is admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey and also to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. That mix of state and federal admissions allows him to manage things that cross jurisdictional lines.

In court he has treated filings, motions and oral arguments. He prepares courtroom papers and looks before judges in state and federal boards. He additionally advises clients on procedural strategy, record preparation and case management. He is understood amongst colleagues for a methodical strategy to case documents and for translating complex legal materials into clear written work.
