Michael Isaac Schiller is a certified attorney licensed to practice regulation within the State of California. He used to be licensed to the California State Bar in 1991. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Schiller is the principal attorney on the Law Offices of Michael I. Schiller P.C., a regulation company located in Torrance, California. He has been practicing law for over 34 years, serving clients throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding counties in Southern California.
Mr. Schiller earned his law degree diploma from Southwestern University School of Law, where he graduated in 1991. Prior to law school, he finished his undergraduate education at California State University, Long Beach, receiving a Bachelor of Arts diploma in 1988. During his time at Southwestern University School of Law, he used to be involved in a number of legal clinics and internships, gaining practical knowledge in more than one fields of law.
Mr. Schiller concentrates his practice within the regions of corporate law, property law, construction law, landlord-tenant regulation, and probate law. He advocates for people and businesses in matters involving business contracts, business dissolution, enterprise finance, company formation, commercial litigation, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, partnership and shareholder disputes, business real estate, condominiums, easements, eminent area, homeowners affiliation issues, land use and zoning, mortgages, neighbor disputes, residential real property, water regulation, structure contracts, structure defects, construction liens, construction litigation, landlord rights, probate legal proceedings, and will contests. His practice encompasses all levels of litigation, which includes initial case evaluation, discovery, facilitated negotiation, settlement negotiations, and trial hearings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Schiller has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also seemed before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his personal company, he labored as an affiliate at a mid-length litigation company in Torrance for 5 years. His extensive knowledge allows him to successfully constitute clients in complicated legal matters throughout a number of areas of practice.
Mr. Schiller is a member in good standing of the California State Bar Association. He holds club within the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a licensed mediator thru the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Schiller is fluent in English, permitting him to serve the numerous groups of Los Angeles County successfully.
