Michael Forkan earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2003. He completed his undergraduate research at Monmouth College in 2000, receiving a B.A. in Environmental Science and Chemistry. Those academic choices set a practical foundation for a career that spans state and federal practice within the Midwest.
After law school, Forkan entered personal practice in Illinois. In 2005 he became the principal of Forkan Law Group. Over the years he has controlled the transition from a small workplace practice to a company that keeps offices under the Forkan Law call. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and is permitted to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
