Michael Earl Garner is a certified attorney admitted to practice regulation in the State of California. He used to be licensed to the California State Bar in 1994. Mr. Garner earned his law degree diploma from the University of La Verne College of Law in 1994. Prior to law program, he completed his undergraduate schooling at California State University, Northridge, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focal point on Finance in 1990. During his time on the University of La Verne, he also attended Pepperdine University School of Law, where he studied Family Law in 1996.
Mr. Garner concentrates his practice in the areas of property planning, trust management, probate administration, and business making plans. He represents individuals and families in things involving wills, trusts, health care directives, powers of attorney, and asset protection. His practice encompasses all levels of legal work, including preliminary case assessment, record preparation, negotiations, and courtroom proceedings in each state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Garner has handled cases within the Superior Court of California for the County of Ventura and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has additionally appeared earlier than the California Court of Appeal on more than one events. Prior to founding Cornerstone Law Center, Inc., he worked as an affiliate at Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton from 1998 to 2001 and as an attorney at Buchanan Law & Mediation Center from 2001 to 2017.
Mr. Garner is an active member of the California State Bar Association and holds certifications as a Certified Financial Planner and as a California Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Loving Heart Hospice Foundation and is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association. Mr. Garner is English-speaking and Spanish, allowing him to serve the numerous groups of Thousand Oaks and nearby areas effectively.
