About Meredith G.
Meredith G. Schmid constructed her legal foundation at two East Coast universities and has spent the years since shifting into practice and bar work throughout more than one jurisdictions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from Pennsylvania State University in 1997 and finished her Juris Doctor at George Mason University School of Law in 2002. Those educational credentials framed an early interest in public service and trial work.
After law school she entered government work and, in 2009, served as a lawyer advisor for the United States Department of Justice. That role positioned her interior federal legal processes and exposed her to legal proceedings approach and coverage work. She left the branch and later transitioned back to personal practice, bringing that federal knowledge to undergo for person and institutional clients.
In 2017 she opened Schmid Law Offices and has operated the company since then. The firm serves clients throughout the states the place she is certified. Schmid is licensed to practice in Maine, the District of Columbia and New Hampshire. Operating a small company has allowed her to take on trial work and to manage the enterprise of a law workplace while remaining engaged in case preparation and court matters.
Her bar and professional memberships run from nearby bar institutions to trial organizations. She joined the DC Bar Association in 2003. She has been a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association since 2016 and, starting in 2017, became lively in the York County Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association. These memberships mirror ongoing participation in regional legal groups and trial-oriented groups.
Colleagues describe her as a person who combines government experience with hands-on practice at the firm degree. She has handled legal proceedings and advisory things stemming from both public and personal roles. The office carries a mailing tackle and operates under the name Schmid Law Offices. Her current practice facilities on representing clients in things throughout Maine, New Hampshire and the District of Columbia.
