Melissa J. Fox is a certified attorney admitted to practice regulation within the State of California. She used to be admitted to the California State Bar in 1993 and holds bar number 170105. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Fox is the founder and senior attorney at The Fox Firm, a regulation and public affairs firm located in La Quinta, California. She has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients across the state.
Ms. Fox earned her law degree degree from Tulane University School of Law. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at Brandeis University. During her time at Tulane, she gained knowledge working at a number of legal organizations, including Appellate Defenders and the California Appellate Defense Counsel. She also holds a California Real Estate Broker License.
Ms. Fox concentrates her practice within the areas of business law, local government law, and public affairs. She advocates for individuals and businesses in matters involving contracts, tax, actual estate, land use, probate, cannabis, dependency, local government law, regulatory law, and fraud recuperation. She has also served on various local forums and commissions, which includes the Irvine City Council, the Orange County Great Park, and the Irvine Community Land Trust. Ms. Fox is fluent in English and Spanish, permitting her to serve the numerous communities of California effectively.
