About Melissa C

Melissa C Mihok built a continuous, court-conscious profession out of continuous choices and steady work. She educated in Ohio and returned to Florida to practice. Simple steps, repeated over time, produced a wide practice that ranges from employment law to corporate counsel responsibilities.

Her first recorded role after law school used to be as an attorney at Kelly & McKee, P.A., beginning in 2002. That early period supplied court exposure and client work typical of a small to mid-length company. Over time she moved into roles that mixed legal proceedings and advisory responsibilities.

In 2014 she shaped Melissa C. Mihok, P.A., serving as president and lawyer. Running her own firm required handling each casework and the enterprise side of legal practice. Two years later, in 2016, she took on a role described as Private Corporate Counsel (PCC). That title signals a mix of in-residence advisory work and outside counsel service, advising employers and firms on employment things and company insurance policies.

Her practice credentials include admission to the Florida bar and to numerous federal jurisdictions. She is admitted to practice within the Eleventh Circuit and within the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida. She additionally holds a labor and employment certification from the Florida Bar Association, which aligns with so much of the work she handles.

Over the years her work has combined defense-side employment litigation, internal corporate counseling, and courtroom appearances in federal and state boards.
