About Maurice
Maurice Davis constructed his academic foundation at Michigan State University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Pre-Law in 2004. He went directly to Florida State University College of Law and acquired his J.D. in 2009. Those years shaped his approach to legal analysis and courtroom preparation. He studied the mechanics of the regulation and the techniques that play out in contested matters.
After law school he have become active in the Illinois legal network, becoming a member of the Illinois State Bar Association in 2009. Three years later he added membership within the State Bar of Michigan. Those two admissions gave him the ability to practice in neighboring jurisdictions and allowed him to construct a cross-state practice. His registrations reflect steady expert engagement in each states since the early 2010s.
In 2012 he released Davis Law Group PLLC and has served as lawyer and founder since. He has overseen the firm’s operations and client work while managing filings and appearances in each Michigan and Illinois. Running a smaller firm required him to mix casework and administrative duties. He has treated intake, case strategy, and court appearances as a part of that position.
His professional institutions stay active. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (since 2009) and the State Bar of Michigan (since 2012).
