About Matthew Steven

Matthew Steven Mansfield constructed his path to regulation on a foundation within the herbal and social sciences. He earned a B.S. in environmental science and psychology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2000. He went on to obtain his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2003.

He started practicing in New York following law school. Over the years he has handled a variety of matters at the state and nearby level. Those things have often touched on regulatory necessities, permitting questions and civil disputes. He has labored on projects that required translating technical environmental data into legal arguments and clear recommendation for clients.

Mansfield’s undergraduate background informs his legal work. Training in environmental science gives him a technical frame for cases that contain infection, land use or adherence questions. Studies in psychology shape how he assesses witness testimony and client communication. He combines the ones views when making ready factual history and presenting problems to opposing events or decision makers.
