During his time at law program, he served as Executive Editor of the San Diego Law Review and acquired the General George W. Hickman, Jr. Award for excellence in Constitutional Law. Prior to law program, he finished his undergraduate education on the University of California, Irvine, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in 1995.
Mr. Buttacavoli concentrates his practice in family law, taking on cases involving parental custody, child support, paternity, restraining orders, divorce, spousal support, spousal support, contested and amicable divorce, property department, and marital estate. He represents individuals and families in things related to dissolution of marriage, family violence, and paternity problems. Mr. Buttacavoli is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, serving on the Family Law Section and the Resolutions Committee. He is a former board member and member of Lex Romana, The Italian-American Lawyers of Orange County. He is a longstanding Director and current Officer of the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County and serves because the President of the Orange County Chapter of the University of San Diego, School of Law Alumni Association. He is likewise a Founding Fellow of the Society of Fellows of the Orange County Bar Foundation. Mr. Buttacavoli is fluent in English and Italian, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Orange County successfully.
