About Matthew P.
Matthew P. Albanese constructed a law school training that spans political science, regulation and enterprise. He earned a B.A. in political science and economics from Providence College in 1994. He then took a Juris Doctor at Suffolk University Law School, receiving his J.D. in 1999. He later returned to Suffolk to complete a MBA in international business in 2002.
He started his submit-law program profession working in personal practice and by 2004 was an affiliate at Colucci, Colucci, Marcus & Flavin PC. That period gave him continuous courtroom and client work and exposure to the types of contested matters that often contact families and older clients. In 2011 he left that role and opened Albanese Law LLC, the place he based a practice that integrates litigation, probate and guardianship matters.
Albanese is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and additionally holds admissions to the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions mirror work that includes appellate filings and representation across multiple levels of the federal and state system. He has also engaged with clinical and committee work thru bar associations and nearby legal organizations.
Professional associations were a continuous part of his career. He has served in leadership at the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, which includes a term as Past President, and remains active in that community. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Guardianship Association, and holds memberships within the Plymouth County and Norfolk County bar associations. Since 2019 he has participated at the Human Rights Committee of Grow Associates Inc.
Clients see him for things that overlap senior law, probate and conservatorship. He handles contested guardianships, estate administration disputes and related claims that occur when families and care vendors disagree over care or belongings. He also pursues appellate work when trial outcomes require in addition review in better courts.

Albanese Law LLC, founded in 2011, operates as his main office and the principal automobile for his current work. He continues to serve clients in senior law, guardianship and probate things, and handles appeals when cases pass past trial courts.
