About Matthew Lorn
Matthew Lorn Hoppock grew up in Kansas and built a legal trail that stayed close to home. He earned a B.A. in philosophy from Kansas State University in 2005 and took his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas, receiving his J.D. in 2008. The schooling supplied the foundation; the next years supplied the realistic training.
He started his profession as an associate at The McCrummen Immigration Law Group LLC in 2008. The role put him squarely in immigration practice and in federal process. In 2011 he moved into partnership at Dunn & Davison LLC. Those early positions uncovered him to administrative filings, court work, and appellate filings in more than one federal venues.
Hoppock’s admissions reflect a practice that reaches beyond an unmarried courthouse. He is admitted to practice in Kansas and earlier than the United States Supreme Court. He also holds admission to the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, third, 4th, 5th, 6th, seventh, 8th, 9th, 10th and eleventh Circuits. That variety has allowed him to pursue matters on appeal in several circuits and to dossier petitions and briefs across jurisdictions.
Professional connections consist of long-standing club in the American Immigration Lawyers Association, a group he has been part of since 2008. That affiliation aligns with the trajectory of his work in immigration law, particularly in things that cross state lines or require federal appeals practice. The associations have informed his work on instances that contain deportation defense, asylum, waivers, and federal petitions.
Hoppock now heads Hoppock Law Office, LLC. The small-office placing positions him to manage instances from intake thru federal filings. He continues to accept matters that require appellate awareness and representation before federal tribunals. Colleagues and clients see him as someone who moves instances thru detailed procedural stages and into federal judiciary when necessary.
He publishes and speaks solely sometimes; his public expert profile centers on case work instead of frequent commentary. The common thread of his legal life is immigration regulation handled at both the executive and appellate levels. He currently practices immigration regulation at Hoppock Law Office, LLC, representing clients in administrative things and federal filings.
