About Matthew L
Matthew L Fabisch graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law and started his professional legal career in Rhode Island. He spent a year clerking within the Rhode Island highest court’s law clerk branch, an early role that uncovered him to appellate briefing and the internal workings of the state’s highest court. That experience formed how he strategies legal writing and procedure.
After his clerkship he joined Smith & Brink, P.C. as an affiliate. He handled trial preparation and client things that ranged throughout civil disputes and property problems. Within a short time he set out on his own trail, setting up Fabisch Law, L.L.C., and serving as its managing lawyer starting in 2010. The firm’s work combined court practice with counseling clients on probate and estate things.
In 2013 he accepted an elected municipal role and served as estate administration pass judgement on for the Town of Smithfield, Rhode Island. That role required each legal evaluation and administrative oversight of estate administration filings, guardianship petitions and related hearings. Serving as a local pass judgement on further a judicial point of view to his practice. It also deepened his familiarity with Rhode Island’s probate guidelines and the realistic issues that occur when estates and household things move from bargaining to the courtroom.
Fabisch is licensed to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and he's authorized to seem in the First Circuit. He holds memberships within the Rhode Island Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and participates within the Rhode Island Bar Association’s highest court Bench/Bar Committee and Probate/Trust Committee. He also works with public-curiosity organizations as a cooperating lawyer for the Institute for Justice Human Action Network and the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education. Those affiliations reflect an interest in civil freedoms and procedural fairness as so much as they signal involvement in the wider bar community.

He has treated contested estate matters and advised on trust administration, and he represents clients in civil disputes when legal proceedings becomes important.
