About Matthew J.

Matthew J. Kristofco trained as a lawyer within the Pacific Northwest. He earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1998 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at St. Bonaventure University in 1992. While at Lewis & Clark he completed a certification in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, a credential that has shaped the direction of his legal work.

After law school he established his expert base in Colorado. His practice has been centered on matters that intersect environmental regulation, land use and regulatory law. Those regions draw on both the technical aspects of environmental laws and the procedural mechanics of agency hearings.
