About Matt

Matt Mathews studied biology before turning to law. He earned a B.A. in Biology from the University of South Florida in 1981. Nearly a decade later he returned to school and received his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 1990.

He entered the legal profession after law school and has labored as an attorney since. His profession has involved the everyday work that maintains a regulation practice operating: advising clients, preparing pleadings, managing evidence-gathering process, and handling bargaining sessions. He has knowledge across the practical tasks that lawyers perform, from drafting documents to acting in courtroom when matters require it.

Mathews’s approach to casework emphasizes careful evaluation and clean communication. He builds factual records, checks legal theories, and helps clients recognize options at each stage.
