About Mary Ellen

Mary Ellen Cincotta has built a career where two fields meet: law and human improvement. She strategies instances with an eye fixed for a way humans's lives and establishments affect each other. Her background in psychology and public fitness shapes the questions she asks and the recommendation she offers.

Cincotta earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities in 1987 after beginning her undergraduate studies in 1983. She studied child psychology, psychology and public fitness, disciplines that tell her view of clients and communities. She returned to school within the late 1990s and acquired her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001, finishing her legal education four years after enrolling.

After law school Cincotta moved into legal practice. Early in her career she labored in roles that required translating medical and coverage worries into legal terms. That transition—between understanding human conduct and applying guidelines—has remained a through line in her work. She has represented clients, recommended on regulatory questions and treated disputes that required awareness to both details and human context.
