About Martin S.
Martin S. LaScola earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in 1999 after completing a bachelor’s diploma in political science and social philosophy at Marquette University in 1996. He entered the area of law at the flip of the century and has since built a career that consists of work in both public prosecution and personal protection.
He began his practice as an Assistant State’s Lawyer in the Cook County State’s Lawyer’s Office in 2000. That early trial experience dealing with prosecutions supplied daily publicity to legal proceedings and trial procedure. He moved into personal practice in the mid-2000s, joining The Davis Law Group, P.C. in 2004 and growing from affiliate to junior companion during his time there.
In 2007 he served as of counsel to the Law Office of Alexander Gruzmark, Ltd., and later took on a leadership position in 2013 as Lead Counsel and Managing Partner of the Criminal Defense Department at Gardi & Haught, Ltd. In 2019 he based and became principal and managing shareholder of LaScola Law Offices, Ltd., building a practice that reflects the variety of his courtroom background.
LaScola is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the Federal Circuit. He has been an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 2004. His professional recognitions consist of inclusion within the Top 100 Trial Lawyers listing by The National Trial Lawyers and several AVVO distinctions, such as the Client’s Choice Award, being indexed as a Featured Lawyer for DUI things, and recognition as a Top Contributor on that platform.

LaScola maintains multiple affiliate workplaces in the Chicago region, including locations that serve communities such as Maywood and Glenview. He continues to handle trial-degree work and litigated things, and he represents clients in both state and federal matters. He currently concentrates his practice on felony protection and DUI representation.
