Martin Ross Sances is a certified attorney admitted to practice regulation in the State of California. He was licensed to the California State Bar in 1995. His license is presently in active status. Mr. Sances is a companion at Sances Law, a corporate law company positioned in Orinda, California. He has been working as an attorney for over 30 years, serving clients across the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding areas.
Mr. Sances earned his Juris Doctor diploma from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he graduated in 1994. Prior to law program, he finished his undergraduate schooling at Colgate University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts diploma in 1991. During his time at Colgate, he graduated magna cum laude and used to be elected to Phi Beta Kappa, reflecting his educational excellence.
Mr. Sances concentrates his practice in the regions of business law, construction litigation, insurance claims, and actual estate. He represents people and agencies in things involving company formation, M&A transactions, agreement bargaining sessions, and highbrow property protection. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial case assessment, evidence-gathering process, facilitated negotiation, settlement negotiations, and trial hearings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his profession, Mr. Sances has treated instances in the Superior Court of California for the County of Contra Costa, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also seemed before the California Court of Appeal on more than one occasions. Prior to founding his own company, he worked as an affiliate at a mid-length litigation company in Lafayette for 5 years.
Mr. Sances is a member in good standing of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership within the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Contra Costa County Superior Court facilitated negotiation software. Mr. Sances is English-speaking and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area successfully.
