Mark Troy constructed his legal foundation in West Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and economics from Marshall University in 1990. He then went directly to the West Virginia University College of Law, receiving his law degree in 1994. Those academic years set a clear path towards a regional practice centered at the Mountain State and its neighbors.
He is licensed to practice in each West Virginia and Kentucky. Over the years he has worked in roles that place him frequently earlier than state courts in both jurisdictions.
