About Mark A.
Mark A. Gallagher has constructed a professional legal career that moves from public service to private practice. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2000 and went straight into court work. Six years later he opened his own office to continue that work on his own terms.
Gallagher finished his undergraduate studies at the University of San Diego, receiving a B.A. in Philosophy in 1996. He then attended Pepperdine University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2000. Those educational years set the stage for a tradition grounded in trial experience and courtroom procedure.
Upon commencement, Gallagher joined the Orange County Public Defender’s Office as a deputy public defender. In that position he represented clients in felony things at a number of stages of proceedings. The position provided regular trial publicity and experience dealing with the pressures of court advocacy.
After several years in public defense, Gallagher moved into private practice. He hung out as an affiliate at Wallin & Klarich in 2005. The following yr he founded the Law Offices of Mark A. Gallagher. Since 2006 he has managed his practice and treated a range of matters that have taken him thru state courts and into federal judiciary when suitable.
Gallagher is licensed by the State Bar of California and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Those credentials mirror ongoing ties to the local bar and the capacity to represent clients in each state and certain federal boards.
