About Lisa Nachmias
Lisa Nachmias Davis earned her B.A. in history from Yale University in 1982 and completed her J.D. at Yale Law School in 1990. She began her legal career immediately after law school, taking a clerkship with Justice David M. Shea of the Connecticut Supreme Court in 1990. The clerkship supplied early publicity to appellate choice-making and state judiciary process.
She moved into private practice after her clerkship. In 1991 she joined Robinson & Cole as an associate. Over the next decade she worked at numerous Connecticut companies as an associate, which includes Sachs, Berman & Shure and Sklarz & Gallant, followed by Cummings & Lockwood. In 1998 she became an affiliate at Tyler Cooper & Alcorn and later rose to companion there in 2004. In 2006 she opened her personal practice, Lisa Nachmias Davis Lawyer at Law. Records also note an association with Davis O'Sullivan & Priest LLC in 2009.
Throughout her profession Davis has developed a specialization in matters affecting older adults and their households. She is a licensed Elder Law Lawyer thru the National Elder Law Foundation, a credential that displays additional education and peer evaluate within the area.
