About Lindsey R
Lindsey R Buchheit constructed her legal basis in Nebraska. She earned a B.A. in English and Political Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University, then completed her J.D. on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Those research set a straight path into courtroom procedure, client counseling and the paperwork that keeps businesses and households shifting.
Her early years within the regulation concerned hands-on clerking. In 2005 she worked as a law clerk at Rembolt Ludtke, LLP, and the following year she served as a law clerk at Corbett, Anderson, Corbett, Vellinga & Irvin, LLP. She joined that firm as an associate in 2007, taking over increasingly accountable work and court assignments. In 2009 she moved to Goosmann Law Office, PLC where she persisted to broaden her trial and transactional knowledge.
In 2013 Buchheit opened her personal company, Buchheit Law, PLC, and has run it since then. Operating a small firm intended moving among court advocacy, document drafting and the enterprise tasks of running a tradition. Clients have dealt together with her in hearings, mediations and property making plans meetings, and her practice displays a mixture of civil things that include household regulation, estate administration and small enterprise problems.
Her peers have recognized her through a BV score from Martindel Hubbell, an indication that different attorneys and judges have evaluated aspects of her legal capacity and expert conduct. That peer recognition sits alongside lengthy-time period involvement in regional legal organizations, where she has served in leadership and representative roles.
Buchheit keeps active memberships within the Nebraska State Bar Association, the South Dakota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Since 2008 she has been involved with the Siouxland Estate Planning Council and served as its president. She has represented the Iowa Organization of Women Lawyers (I.O.W.A.) as a 3rd Judicial District Representative since 2008. Her work with the Iowa State Bar Association began with the Young Lawyers Division estate administration committee in 2007 and later expanded to the Family Law Committee, on which she has served since 2014. She joined the board of the Iowa Small Business Development Centers in 2014 and has served as secretary of the Sergeant Bluff Community Development Corporation since 2013.
She is certified to practice in Nebraska, South Dakota and Iowa and manages a multi-state practice from her office at Buchheit Law, PLC. She continues to manage household law, estate administration, property planning and small enterprise things across the ones states.
