About Liam

Liam Meehan graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 2008. He entered personal practice after finishing law program and built a career spanning two Midwestern jurisdictions. He has spent his expert life operating on matters that require familiarity with both Iowa and Nebraska law.

Meehan was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2011 and to the Nebraska bar in 2012. He has been an active member of the Iowa State Bar since 2011 and joined the Nebraska State Bar Association the following year. Those memberships keep him related to developments in state process and substantive law in both jurisdictions.

Over the years Meehan has labored in firms that handle legal proceedings and transactional things throughout state lines. He practices at Wagner Meehan and Watson, the place he represents people and businesses in state courts and administrative venues. His work often involves coordinating filings and approach for cases that touch on the laws of each Iowa and Nebraska.

Colleagues describe Meehan as pragmatic and continuous in court settings. He favors clean written work and easy explanations for clients who are facing complicated legal decisions. He prepares court filings, manages discovery and presents arguments at proceedings, balancing attention to detail with an eye fixed on realistic outcomes.

Outside of casework, Meehan keeps ties to the bar associations in both states. He attends continuing legal education packages and contributes to team efforts to track procedural modifications and case law developments. He is known for a methodical strategy to legal studies and for keeping clients informed through the life of a matter.

Meehan presently practices at Wagner Meehan and Watson, the place he represents clients in things springing up under Iowa and Nebraska law.
