About Laura

Laura Robbins earned her J.D. from Wayne State University in 2000 after completing a B.A. in Criminal Justice at Michigan State University in 1996. She moved from the classroom to the courtroom on a steady timeline. Those two degrees laid out a clean trail into practice in Pennsylvania.

Early in her career she worked as a staff lawyer at MidPenn Legal Services in 2003. There she treated day-to-day responsibilities typical of a regional legal offerings workplace, gaining direct knowledge with client intake, case preparation and court filings. The role provided exposure to a wide variety of civil things that affect everyday lives.

In 2011 she released Laura Robbins Law, LLC and assumed the position of owner and lawyer. Building a solo practice required shifting from the systems of a public service workplace to the needs of operating an enterprise in addition to a regulation practice. Since then she has overseen casework, client communications and the executive operations of her company.

Robbins has remained active in expert circles over the course of her career. She joined the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 2003 and have become a member of the Centre County Bar Association in 2011, retaining each memberships thru the present. Her affiliations supplement an on-the-floor practice and offer ordinary contact with friends and nearby legal developments.

Outside the workplace she has participated in fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association starting in 2011. That volunteer work has run along her expert lifestyles and reflects a longstanding engagement with community causes. She is also commissioned as a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a credential she keeps in connection with her practice.

Those experiences — public interest work at MidPenn, operating a personal firm and bar affiliation involvement — shape the contour of her professional profile. Her work is grounded in Pennsylvania practice and the procedural realities of state courts and administrative processes. She brings collectively trial experience, client-facing work and company control in her day-to-day legal work.

She keeps a solo practice in Pennsylvania where she continues to provide legal offerings and serves as a notary public.
