About Laura Helen
Laura Helen Fitzgibbon built a legal trail that crosses public service and private practice. She moved thru courtrooms and client meetings in a span of years that shows a steady widening of duty and scope. Her training began in the Pacific Northwest and has stayed there professionally.
Fitzgibbon earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2012 after finishing a B.A. in Political Science at Gonzaga University in 2008. Those two institutions shaped her early understanding of regulation and authorities. The guides and clinics at Seattle University exposed her to courtroom procedure and client advocacy, foundations she would return to over the course of her career.
Her first listed position following law school was a public defender position at Island Defense, PLLC, beginning in 2015. In that position she treated criminal protection things for clients who could not have the funds for personal counsel. The caseload gave her hands-on experience in litigation preparation, client interviewing, and courtroom advocacy.
By 2017 she had moved into prosecutorial roles. Records display work each at Moberly & Roberts, PLLC as an Assistant Prosecuting Lawyer and at the City of Bothell Prosecutor’s Office. Those roles put the other side of criminal practice in view. She gained familiarity with charging selections, plea bargaining sessions, and the procedural mechanics that prosecutors manage on an every day foundation.
In 2019 Fitzgibbon shifted towards household regulation at Goldberg & Jones, PLLC. That difference intended different courtroom rhythms and new substantive regulation: custody, support, and dissolution matters. Case documents from that duration reflect work on settlement negotiations, temporary orders, and contested proceedings.
Her private-practice duties expanded in 2021. She served as a senior lawyer at Wakefield Legal, PLLC and that same year is listed as Lawyer/Owner of Malone Legal PLLC. The move into company possession marks a transition to running case strategy and business operations, in addition to keeping client work.
She is certified in Washington and has been lively in local bar circles since at least 2015. She is a member of the King County Bar Association and the Snohomish County Bar Association. Those memberships keep her related to local practice tendencies and ongoing legal training.
Colleagues describe an attorney who moves without problems among court advocacy and client counseling. She brings trial experience on both sides of felony cases and numerous years of household regulation practice to her recent position. As of 2026 she practices thru Malone Legal PLLC and concentrates her practice on household regulation and related civil things.
